NATea Time

NATea Time is where the osu! Nomination Assessment Team pulls up a chair with the community — an open, public conversation about the ranked section, held out in the open. It exists to keep things transparent, clear up misinformation, and give the NAT and the community a direct line to each other.

Each session is a live Discord Stage on the osu! Discord Server, usually one to three hours, in a relaxed "tea time" spirit. A typical get-together mixes:

• Ranked updates — where the ranked section stands, and recent policy or structural changes.
• A focus topic — a proper look at one thing: survey results, a policy adjustment, subjectivity, the veto process, and the like.
• Open Q&A — your questions, answered live. Drop them in the Stage chat, or raise a hand and come up to ask directly.
• Odds and ends — retrospectives, interviews, the occasional friendly debate.

It's hosted for osu! by -White and Noffy, and runs monthly — usually the 4th Sunday. Can't make it live? Every session is recorded and posted afterwards.

Whether you're a mapper, a BN, a player, or just ranked-curious, you're welcome. Come in good faith, keep it kind — criticism aimed at ideas and systems, not people — and bring your questions, ideas, and perspective.

How this board works

This is where the community shapes what NATea Time talks about — suggest topics, questions, and focus discussions for upcoming sessions. Writing them down here in advance is the best way to make sure they actually get asked.

• Share an idea and it goes to the hosts for a quick look before it appears on the board.
• Warm up (upvote) the ones you'd most like to see — the warmest ideas get first look when the running order is planned.
• Ideas move as they're considered:
• Proposals — fresh suggestions on the board.
• To Be Discussed — things we're seriously lining up for a session.
• Not planned — set aside, always with a reason, so you know where it landed.
• Comment to add context or talk it through.
